Walking down the aisle. (Bride)

Only Hope- Mandy Moore

My grandpa will be walking me down the aisle and this song is very subtle, soft, and nice. I've always called my fiance my starshine, so it kind of ties into that as well. It's basically a song saying that he's appeared in her life and there's no one like that one person. It kinda fits for a wedding and I'm very untraditional.

Walking down aisle.. after ceremony

She Said Yes- Brad Paisley

"She said yes... I said Wow... She said when... I said how about right now?"

First Dance

Amazed- Lonestar

"Every time our eyes meet, this feeling inside me, is almost more than I can take. Baby when you touch me, I can feel how much you love me, and it just blows me away. I've never been this close to anyone or anything, I can hear your thoughts; I can see you dreams. I don't know how you do what you do, I'm so in love with you.It just keeps getting better. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side forever and ever. Every little thing that you do, Baby I'm amazed by you."

Father/Daughter Dance

Butterfly Kisses- Bob Carlisle

Since I was 5, I would listen to this song and I would always tell my friends that I would dance with my dad to this song when I got married. I've known all of the words since I was old enough to remember them. Although it won't be as special because I'm not as close with my dad anymore, it is still important to me.

Step-father/Step-daughter Dance

My Wish- Rascal Flatts

Since I was 13, my stepdad has always watched out for me and taken care of me the best that he can. It was a new experience for him, but he was always there when I need someone to talk to, get advice from, or help me get through tough times. I think me getting married is harder on him than it is on my mom. Although he'd probably be happy if I waited until I'm 30 to get married, he still wants the best for me and only wishes that I'll be treated like the princess he thinks of me. This song helps describe our relationship and our focus on the future.

Aunt/Son Dance

I Hope You Dance- Leeann Womack

David's aunt has been like a mother to him since he was 6. This song is pretty reflective of his relationship with his aunt/mom. "I hope you never lose your sense of wonder.... Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens...Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance.." I'm very anxious to see him dance with his aunt because he's not much of a dancer and his aunt is pretty down to earth and I haven't seen her dance before. This should be fun.

Garter Removal

Pony- Far

So, this is the Pony song by Ginuwine, but a rock remix. After having David look through all of the suggested songs for this online, I let him pick the song and he was dying to use the remix for it. Oh and I have to mention that he's going to do it wish his teeth. Every time I listen to the song, I laugh picturing how it's going to be on the day of. "Jump on it, let's do it, ride it, my pony, my saddle's, waiting, come and, jump on it"

Garter Toss

Wild Thing- Tone Loc

This is what he chose to do for the actual garter toss. It doesn't help that almost all of his wedding party is single and I'm just picturing the wedding party all huddled to wild thing.

Bouquet Toss

This One's for The Girls- Martina McBride

I absolutely love this song and country in particular. I wasn't too fond of any of the other suggested songs for this. Many of my bridal party and friends are into country as well and I just thought it'd be cute.

Dollar Dance

Can You Feel the Love Tonight- Elton John

Well, this song was sort of a, "ehh, I guess it works" decision. We didn't know what song to choose, but David requested something slower so he wouldn't really have to make much of a fool of himself, but that may change. Yes, it's tradition in my family, so no criticism please.

Cake Cutting

Hit Me with Your Best Shot- Pat Benatar

So, I already warned him that he cannot shove cake in my face, unless he promises to keep it off of my dress, or he has to pay for it. But, I've liked this song since I was little and did a cheer to it in 7th grade so it has a little sentimental value, but I let him pick it and he wanted this one.

Last Dance

Don't Stop Believing- Journey

Once again, another one of my favorite songs. I also did a dance to it my senior year and it's been sang around my old high school for a long time. But, surprisingly this was not my choice, but his. So, this is our last song.
